Over all great program especially if youre willing to pay the 1. Cons. It is a big hassle to record steam games because you have to install a window resizer. Summary. I was an idiot and bought this before I finished testing it because I was so happy with the results. Then, of course after flushing my 1. I discovered it continued to record my desktop in stead of my steam game. Let me tell you, I was pretty pissed. Reply to this review. Was this review helpful 1. Pros. Easy to use ,fantastic video quality, and it also records voice. Consit leaves a watermark but personally that doesnt bother me. Summary. Its been a long time since I tried any of the newer Video capture programs, and thats partially because I had a few programs that Ive been using for years, and partially because the top programs back 5 or 6 years ago all hijacked your home page and were a pain to remove the crap they loaded. But I just bought a new Windows 1. I figured I take a chance with something new. This program was a very pleasant surprise, its simple to adjust and use, and the filming quality is fantastic, plus it also records voice, and most importantly it doesnt try to hijack your machine or add unwanted items. I give this a solid 5 Stars. Reply to this review. Was this review helpful 1. Pros. 1 The process of working in this program is very fluid, so its easy to use. Cons. I dont have any issues with it. Summary. Its a great program. Reply to this review. Was this review helpful 1. Pros. Screencast O Matic seemed to capture the area which you have the option to select quite well. It is fairly easy to use. Cons. It would not capture sound. Summary. This was a good attempt on my part to select an app that would capture a video. But, what they did not tell you. Free means you will not be able to capture sound. So, if you are looking for an app that is truly free, I, IMO, would avoid this. Reply to this review. Was this review helpful 1. Pros. Simple to use. Cons That simplicity comes at a price lack of control and customizability. Theres a watermark in the bottom left for the free version. Not unexpected, but also not mentioned in the reviews. Full screen recording is awkward to accomplish. You must DRAG the recording edges over your screen, but if you drag it out to your desktops edges, the softwares control panel becomes hidden. Even with the control panel at top option selected. Summary. For something so easy to use, I wouldve expected better, more predictable results. Im sure this software is excellent for certain purposes, but I found the lack of customizability to be a real problem. Reply to this review. Was this review helpful 1. Monotype Plugin. Pros. 1. Only 3 options in free version 3 out of 5. Takes lot of time in publishing. Summary. In nut shell, I just deleted the free version of software from my desktop. Its GOOD FOR NOTHING Updated on Jul 2. Cons In free version, it records in Mono Audio. Its Irritating. Why not provide stereo audio recording option in free version too. Reply to this review. Was this review helpful 1. Major. Geeks.
